Most couples haven’t had their photograph taken together before their wedding day, and the majority of people don’t feel 100% comfortable in front of the lens either. Don’t worry! This is exactly the reason why I feel it is important to have a pre-wedding shoot before the wedding day, and is why I include a mid-week pre-wedding shoot in York within my wedding package (any location is possible for additional mileage costs, a Sunday shoot may be available for an additional £50 subject to date availability). Not only does it give you both more confidence in having your photograph taken, but it also gives me a chance to get to know you better and build up a strong relationship with you so I know just what you’re wanting from your wedding photos. The shoot itself usually lasts around an hour or so and I try to make it as relaxed and fun as possible. Before the shoot I try to meet up with you at a nearby cafe or pub so that we can go through the wedding day itinerary at the same time so I can plan the day out beforehand and know all the timings and the names of important people at the wedding (I like to try and remember everyone’s names, it really helps during the group shots when arranging people!) Your photos will be available to view within a week via an online download. The photos from the shoot can also be used to create a signing board or guest book.
